Cookies and browser storage
PlaceProof uses browser storage for selected settings, recent locations and saved simulations. External analytics and advertising services are included only on designated public pages.
Version dated September 28, 2026
Functional storage
The NEXT_LOCALE cookie records the chosen language as a session cookie without a configured expiry. The selected region, up to eight recent searches and up to twelve location reports are stored in your browser. RentHere stores up to 50 simulations only after you choose to save them.
Optional services
Analytics and advertising cookies are distinct from functional storage. The relevant consent dialogue must describe the types, providers, purposes and lifetimes of optional cookies in use. Rejecting cookies does not necessarily prevent every technical request to a loaded service.
Change settings and remove data
Delete saved rental simulations in the tool. Remove other local data and cookies in your browser’s site-data settings; this removes saved scenarios and preferences, so export needed simulations first. Change consent in the available dialogue or withdraw it by contacting Tanael. There is no central user account for deleting data.
