Delivery and security
Google Firebase App Hosting and Google Cloud host the website. Requests involve processing IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, browser information and technical error data to deliver, troubleshoot and secure the service. The basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(f), with a legitimate interest in a working, secure website. URLs may contain location parameters entered by users.
Calculations and local data
Purchase and rental calculations run in your browser. Saved rental simulations are held in its localStorage, without an account or automatic synchronisation. LiveHere stores recent searches and location data locally. URLs, exports and screenshots may contain personal information; share only what you intend to disclose.
Location services and recipients
Address searches, maps, nearby places, routes and imagery require search text or coordinates. Depending on the region, recipients include Geoportail Luxembourg, SPW/ICAR, Digitaal Vlaanderen, IGN/Géoplateforme, OpenStreetMap/Nominatim, Overpass providers including Tracestrack, OSRM, regional cadastral services, Google Street View and Esri. Server requests go through PlaceProof; OpenStreetMap tiles load directly in your browser and disclose its IP address. Processing supports the location function you request under GDPR Article 6(1)(f). Budget calculations remain possible without an address.
Analytics and advertising
Public example and methodology pages may load Google Analytics and, in supported languages, Google AdSense. Interactive tools, legal pages and pages with query parameters are excluded. Loaded Google services receive technical usage data such as IP addresses, device information and page views. Existing Consent Mode initially denies analytics and ad storage; cookieless signals may nevertheless be sent to Google. Cookies and personalisation requiring consent need your agreement under GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and applicable cookie rules. See the consent dialogue and Google’s information for details.
Contact
If you email us, we process your sender address, message and any information you voluntarily include to handle the enquiry. The basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(f), our interest in responding, or Article 6(1)(b) where a specific contractual enquiry applies. Please report errors using anonymised examples.
Retention and deletion
Contact records are retained according to completion and necessary follow-up of the enquiry; legal duties and specifically needed evidence can justify further purpose-limited retention. Technical logs support operation, troubleshooting and security; relevant periods depend on these needs and service configurations. There is no single statutory period for all website data. Contact the operator about a particular processing activity and deletion. Local simulations and settings persist until deleted in the browser. Seven-day reuse of location data is a cache period, not a promise of automatic deletion.
Providers and international processing
Hosting, communications, map, analytics and advertising providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including Google in the United States. Their notices describe processing locations and available transfer mechanisms. Contact Tanael for the recipients and safeguards used in a particular case and available copies of agreements. Storage exclusively in Luxembourg is not promised.
Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time for the future, without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact Tanael or use the available consent dialogue. You can complain to a supervisory authority, particularly Luxembourg’s CNPD.
Optional information and decisions
Calculators do not require an account or a real address. Particular location features require search text or coordinates. Figures are simulations; PlaceProof makes no credit decision or other decision about you with legal effect.
